Refund Policy

At House of Nada, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our Return & Refund Policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and hassle-free. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return.

1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The return request is raised within 7 days of delivery.
  • The item is unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging are intact.
  • The item is not from the non-returnable category (see Section 5).
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice) is provided.

2. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at returns@houseofnada.com with your order number, item(s) to be returned, and reason for return.
  2. Attach clear photographs of the item(s) and any defects (if applicable).
  3. Our team will review your request within 2 business days and send you a return authorisation with instructions.
  4. Pack the item securely and ship it to our return address using a trackable courier service.
  5. Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or exchange within 5–7 business days.

3. Refund Process

  • Original Payment Method: Refunds are credited to the original payment source (card, UPI, net banking) within 7–10 business days after approval.
  • Store Credit: Alternatively, you may opt for store credit (valid for 12 months), which is processed within 2 business days.
  • COD Orders: Refunds for Cash on Delivery orders are issued via bank transfer. Please provide your bank details when raising the return request.

4. Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges for a different size or colour (subject to availability). Exchanges must meet the same eligibility criteria as returns. If the desired item is unavailable, we will process a full refund.

  • One free exchange is allowed per order.
  • Subsequent exchanges may attract a nominal handling fee.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
  • Items without original tags or packaging
  • Sale items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"
  • Customised or made-to-order garments
  • Innerwear, niqabs, face veils, and other hygiene-sensitive items
  • Gift cards and store credits

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will arrange a free return pickup and issue a full refund or replacement at no additional cost to you.

7. Return Shipping

  • For quality issues or incorrect items: Return shipping is free — we arrange pickup.
  • For size/preference changes: The customer bears the return shipping cost.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service. House of Nada is not responsible for items lost in transit during return.

8. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund.
  • Once an order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — please follow the return process after delivery.
  • To cancel, email us immediately at support@houseofnada.com with your order number.
